The adage among office developers used to be "Stay alive until '05." Maybe they should have said "'06 is when the market really ticks." Or even "Things will be revvin' in '07." Either way, the market is starting to look up.
So says Patrick Callahan, senior vice president in Seattle for Equity Office, the region's largest landlord. He made the rounds Wednesday with his 2006 commercial real estate forecast.
