Burien has been atwitter about trouble at Town Square, the downtown mixed-use project. The Highline Times says only six of the 154 condos in the first phase have sold, and none of the retail space has been taken. The B-Town Blog reported the developer, Urban Partners, was selling two undeveloped parcels and asked whether the company was pulling out.
The answer is no, according to Dick Loman, Burien's economic development manager.
