As the economy climbs out of the recession, real estate investors want to know why there aren't more distressed property sales. You'd think established players who pulled back when things got crazy in 2007 would be snapping up property now. Not so fast.
“There are plenty of distressed properties out there,” said Benaroya's Marc Nemirow. “I don't know if there are many distressed property opportunities... Candidly, we're not seeing them.”
