Project description: Runway 16R-34L connecting taxiways for Third Runway. Job included removing 139,000 square yards of Portland cement and asphalt concrete pavements; constructing 139,000 square yards of Portland cement concrete pavement; and applying 35,000 tons of asphalt concrete pavement. Related work included installing temporary erosion controls; excavation; storm drainage and water system improvements; electrical ductbanks; installing in-pavement light bases, fixtures and related conduit; and installing airfield signs and pavement markings.
