90 small units proposed for First Hill parking lot

No parking is required for this small site on First Hill. 90 small units are planned.

Last month, developer Johnson & Carr bought a First Hill parking lot at 1103 Summit Ave. from Virginia Mason Medical Center, which had owned it for decades. Using an LLC, it paid $3.35 million for the 7,200-square-foot property, or about $465 per square foot, which shares the block with an existing older four-story apartment building. It is on the northwest corner of Summit and Spring Street.
