Target buys building for 2nd & Pike store

Target plans to put a smaller-format store in the 103,500-square-foot space.

Target Corp. bought the Pike Plaza building — formerly The Newmark — in downtown Seattle on Friday, and plans to open a new smaller-format store in the 103,500-square-foot space.
