Urban Land Institute series starts today

SEATTLE — Christopher Leinberger, a Brookings Institution fellow, is the keynote speaker at an Urban Land Institute event this afternoon at the Sheraton Seattle Hotel, 1400 Sixth Ave.

It's the first event in the Seattle chapter's 2010 Thriving Communities series. Leinberger will talk about how the public's growing desire to live in walkable neighborhoods is creating a need for up to 20 urban centers in the Puget Sound region.
