Griffin says 6th Ave. apartments on hold

    Developer Matt Griffin said a 650-unit apartment project his Pine Street Group plans to build downtown has been put on hold.

    Seattle-based Pine Street's partner in the project, Multi-Employer Property Trust, wants to “get a little more risk out of the economy” before moving forward, said Griffin, who was the keynote speaker at a Seattle Mortgage Bankers Association event Wednesday.
