Miles Sand & Gravel sells land to tribe

By JOURNAL STAFF

AUBURN — The Muckleshoot Indian Tribe has purchased the 70-acre off-reservation portion of the Miles Sand & Gravel Co. property in Auburn, a Tribe spokesman said.

Public records show a sale price of $33.7 million, but it is unclear if that includes all or a portion of the land the Tribe bought.
