More people, retail are headed for Seattle: DSA

Second + Pine, a $200 million luxury hotel/condo complex, is one of several new projects coming to downtown. Developer Paul Brenneke said the interiors will be designed by the Toronto-based firm of Yabu Pushelberg.

Downtown office vacancy rates should hover at about 10 to 12 percent for the rest of the decade, rents will rise, more baby boomers will move downtown and retail will keep sizzling.
