Self-climbing elevator ‘jumps' with construction

  • The Kone JumpLift can be used to transport workers and equipment at work sites.
  • Designed to speed up the movement of manpower and materials on high-rise building sites, the Kone JumpLift construction elevator enables the car to be installed and put into use, while work continues on floors above.

    Exterior hoists have been used for over 40 years at construction sites, but there are growing concerns about their safety and efficiency, according to Kone. To overcome these concerns, Kone developed the self-climbing elevator, the JumpLift.
