Green River flood risk is over: Corps

SEATTLE (AP) — Army Corps of Engineers officials say they think the flood risk for the Green River Valley south of Seattle is over for this winter.

Now they say a temporary fix to the Hanson Dam reservoir upstream needs to be quickly made to avoid a repeat of the danger next fall.
