Spokane River cleanup criticized
SPOKANE (AP) — A proposal to reduce phosphorus pollution in the Spokane River over the next decade has drawn criticism from business, government and environmental groups.
In comments to the state Ecology Department, Inland Empire Paper Co. says new pollution limits might put it out of business.
