WSDOT repairs I-5, section by section
The agency is in the midst of a $21 million project to replace 440 deteriorating concrete panels between Boeing Field and the Snohomish County line.
Crews replace concrete panels on southbound Interstate 5 near Interstate 90. The 12-by-15-foot panels weigh a ton each.
BIG URBAN ROAD projects, with their potential to stop cities dead in their tracks, require managing details both large and small.
