Work was recently finished on a $5.5 million expansion and renovation of Columbia Presbyterian Church at 805 Columbia Ridge Drive in Vancouver.
The 41,000-square-foot church has an expanded sanctuary and fellowship hall. Portions of the sanctuary were restored, maintaining the history of the church.
To expand the sanctuary, two 80-foot-long steel beams were installed to replace wood support columns. The reconfigured area has nearly doubled the amount of seating.
