OLYMPIA — The Washington State Department of Transportation is seeking a contractor to make improvements on state Route 2 in Snohomish County. Estimated cost of the work is between $4 million and $5 million.
WSDOT wants to improve the highway between mile posts 15.40 and 28.92, including construction of a two-way left-turn lane, drainage and storm sewer systems, retaining walls, guardrails, concrete barriers, sidewalks, landscaping and traffic systems. Roadways will be paved with hot-mix asphalt.
