Walla Walla police to get $11M station

WALLA WALLA — The city of Walla Walla is seeking a construction manager to oversee design, development and construction of an $11 million police station on Moore Street, across from the City Service Center.

The project is in the schematic design phase. It will have about 29,000 square feet, which is more than triple the 9,000 square feet the police occupy at city hall. There will be no jail in the new building, as the police will continue to use the county's jail.
