Oregonian gives Texaco station a retro makeover

  • It took Hank Albrecht, a priest and long-time auto buff, seven years to restore the La Grande gas station back to 1959 specifications.

    LA GRANDE, Ore. — Oregonians set their clocks back an hour on Nov. 1, the day Pacific Standard Time began.

    Union County residents, however, did not have to wait until Nov. 1 to reverse the hands of time.
