SEATTLE — The University of Washington has requested a permit to demolish the 75,500-square-foot Balmer Hall, built in 1962, to build a 63,000 building housing classrooms and offices for the University of Washington's Michael G. Foster School of Business in its place.
Construction is under way on the 132,000-square-foot Paccar Hall next door.
