Chinese drywall report released

WASHINGTON (AP) — The federal government says in a new report that Chinese drywall used to build thousands of homes has higher amounts of some chemical substances than its American counterparts.

But the report released Thursday stopped short of linking it to health problems, foul smells or corrosion reported by homeowners, saying further study was needed.
