More layoffs coming at DPD

  • The city's design review boards are seeing activity drop. In 2008, 89 projects went through early design review. This year, it will be about 22.

    More layoffs are coming soon at the Seattle Department of Planning and Development but DPD officials won't say how many.

    “We'll know more early next week,” DPD spokesman Bryan Stevens wrote in an e-mail.
