Molten glass leak shuts down factory

KALAMA, Cowlitz County (AP) — A leak of molten glass has shut down a new wine bottle factory at Kalama.

A fire captain, Terry Sinkler of Cowlitz Fire District 5, says the molten glass looked like lava early Sunday as it leaked from a container and fell onto steel support beams and decking at the Cameron Glass company.
