FLORENCE, Ore. (AP) — The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is worried that a proposed 36-inch-diameter pipeline and liquefied natural gas terminal in Coos County that would run through Coos Bay could harm aquatic species.
The EPA also wants the project's developers to look for another place to dump 410,000 cubic yards of sediment removed every two years to keep the channel deep enough for a terminal.
