Local governments are making long wish lists in anticipation of the economic stimulus package promised by President-elect Barack Obama.
As of Wednesday, the Puget Sound Regional Council had a 24-page list of transportation projects that need funding in King, Pierce, Snohomish and Kitsap counties. The price tag for projects that have been submitted to the council now totals $2 billion, and the state of Washington has not submitted its list yet, said the PSRC spokesperson Rick Olson.
