Speaker says NW poised to benefit from new economy

  • Metro areas will lead in the new economy, says Bruce Katz of the Brookings Institute, and there are some things this area should do to get ready.

    Bruce Katz of the Brookings Institute said after the economy stabilizes it will become clear that this recession has completely reshaped the economy.

    Katz said the restructuring will create winners and losers, and the Pacific Northwest is uniquely situated to take advantage of the change.
