MWBE's can meet WSDOT on Friday

OLYMPIA — The Washington State Department of Transportation is holding a networking event Friday in Seattle where contractors can learn about programs for minority- and women-owned businesses.

WSDOT will provide information about how the programs relate to highway construction projects, and breakout sessions will cover the new American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Bonding Assurance program, which provides $20 million for DBE bonding assistance.
