SEATTLE — Richard M. Clinton, a partner with the law firm of Dorsey & Whitney in Seattle, died Dec. 22.
Clinton joined Dorsey in 1999 as a partner and specialized in antitrust and consumer protection, class actions, international issues, franchise and distribution, contracts, and other commercial litigation and dispute resolution. He co-chaired the firm's antitrust practice group and was past chair of its trial group. One of his high-profile cases included the Exxon Valdez litigation.
