    The one-story, mid-century shape and scale is still there along 152nd Avenue Southwest in Burien. Welcoming street fixtures are a recent public investment that has spurred revitalization.

    Which came first: the dignified street planters or the popular watering hole? They seem to belong together, like old friends along Southwest 152nd Street in Burien, but neither was there a decade ago.
