The city of Pasco is considering what to do with an underused stretch of land along the Columbia River.
The 96-acre area, much of it Port of Pasco property, is divided by train tracks and has limited street access. The eastern part of the area, a former tank farm, is undergoing an environmental cleanup. The smaller western part has a mix of housing, industrial buildings and a boat basin that houses a boat repair service and a marina.
