New video shows viaduct in a 7 earthquake

The Washington State Department of Transportation today released a video simulation of what would happen to the Alaskan Way Viaduct in the event of a magnitude 7.0 earthquake.

WSDOT also issued a request for bids for a major viaduct replacement project, the South Holgate to King Street contract. The project will replace the southern mile of viaduct near the sports stadiums.
