Marketing plays critical role during a recession

Marketing serves to foster and maintain brand identity, client relationships and client care. These are the core marketing values that attract and retain clients.

That is why companies should seriously consider the idea that marketing plays a more critical role now than it did during previous recessions when it served to provide information more than it served to build brand identity. The relationship between clients and brand identity is crucial. If your firm wants to maintain its competitive edge, it must focus on relationship marketing as one of the most effective means of retaining an appropriate level of market share.
