NWCB honors outstanding ceiling and wall projects
The Northwest Wall and Ceiling Bureau on May 10 handed out 15 awards for outstanding wall and ceiling projects at the association's 62nd annual convention and trade show in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Awards were given for commercial and residential projects, for both interior and exterior finishes. Three were for suspended ceilings. There were six winners in Washington, five in Oregon and four in British Columbia.
Projects were judged on design, job site innovation and/or conditions, quality of workmanship, use of materials and overall effect.
The judging panel was: architect Vince Nordfors; Chris Martindale, senior project manager at Howard S. Wright Construction; Murray Corey, executive director of the British Columbia Wall and Ceiling Association; Bob Drury, industry expert and former NWCB executive director; Jim Young, NWCB of Oregon technical consultant; Terry Kastner, NWCB technical consultant; and Mark Eisenmann, NWCB executive director.
